Date Picker Question Demo

With CreateSurvey you can ask a date question by several ways:

1. Using a special "Date Picker" question type
2. Using "Single Choice" question
3. Using a text field

It is not recommended to use a text field due to many typos it may produce, because each respondent may enter date in a different way, e.g. "12/06/2008", "December 6, 2008", "12 June 2008" and so on.

Using "Date Picker" is recommended in order to get a precise response from a respondent. It provides date validation, convenient input (calendar widget), ability to set format, date range and default value.

On the other hand, "Date Picker" does not allow summarizing in reports nor cross-tabulate results by the dates entered via question of this type.

If you need to summarize or crosstabulate, consider using "Single Choice" question types (radio buttons or drop-down box).
