Accessibility of Mobile Devices and Digital TV

Introduction

Why we want to hear from you?

If you are a person with disability, or a condition that affects your use of computer, we would like to hear your opinions about mobile phones, TV, and game consoles. We'd also like to hear your suggestions on how they could be improved so they are easier to use.

In order to assess the accessibility of mobile phones, TV, and game consoles, we need to know a little about your impairment, or condition, and how you adapt those technologies (for example if you use a screen reader or voice recognition software).

All information you provide to us will help us advise technology manufacturers on how they can improve the accessibility of their products.

If you live in the Greater London area and would like to be interviewed and take part in user testing we'd like to hear from you.

If you’re not part of the AbilityNet tester pool you can join and earn extra cash by helping make technology more accessible!

About completing the questionnaire

This questionnaire consists of three mandatory sections and one optional:
1 - About you
2 - About your mobile phone
3 - About your TV
4 - About your video games (optional)

Completing the questionnaire should take you less than 20 minutes. If you're using assistive technology, such as a screen reader, it may take you slightly longer.

You don't have to complete the whole form if you don't want to, simply answer the questions that interest you.
