How often do you check Popsessed?
Once or several times a day
Once or several times a week
Once or several times a month
Whenever Twitter tells me there's a new update.

Which artists do you like a lot?
(might seem like a random question but it's good to know if there's any artists we should write a bit more about)
4.
How important are these things for you on a popblog?
I don't care
I like them
Essential!

Would you like to see reviews of new albums as soon as possible, or do you prefer them a few days/weeks later when we've given the album a more than proper listen?
As soon as possible. First impressions are good.
Rather a bit later when you can properly judge the album.

*
How would you feel about us reviewing older (more than a year old) albums?
That seems rather pointless.
Sound like a nice idea, but only for the albums you consider proper must-hear classics.
A very good idea, can't wait to read your views on all kind of random pop albums from the past!
9.
*
How do you like your reviews?
Extensive reviews with track by track info.
Extensive reviews that are written like an article. (So mentioning and highlighting some tracks, but no track by track list)
Short and clear, describing the album in a few lines and mentioning the worst and best songs on it.

We've often considered doing a review on an album but decided not to because there wasn't that much to write about it. What would you prefer in that case?
Only review the albums you really can and like to write about.
Do proper reviews for your favourite albums, and short pieces on less significant albums, but give every big release a mention, no matter how short.
Make all your reviews short and to the point so you can give your view on as many albums as possible.
11.
*
Do you like us to add audiosamples to our reviews?
Only if you make a proper album megamix.
Yes please, a quick preview of all the tracks would be good!
Only samples of the best songs on the album.
No, I have Youtube for that.

Currently there's loads of news we don't report, mostly because it's all over other sites already, and we feel it's pointless to post about things you've probably read somewhere else already. (To give an example, when the new Gaga video was all over the internet we didn't think there was a point in adding yet another linkdrop to our blog). How do you feel about this?
I think you're right, only report things that are really huge or exclusive.
You should post all them anyway, I do read other sites, but it's good to have all the bits of popnews in one place.
Don't assume all people are as up to date on pop news as you are, some people don't read too many other sites, so report anything newsworthy on your blog!
Only repost 'old news' when you have a very original way to post about it.

*
How do you feel about short pieces of news (like a new album title or release date, or a music video that isn't all that great), that don't really make for a proper story?
Just post them. Short bits of news are news too.
Save them up and do a roundup of news pieces once a week.
Only post them on Twitter, don't waste a blog on them.
Don't post them.

Unfortunately, it sometimes happens there's a piece of news, like a new music video, at a moment we don't have time to write a proper piece on it. When that's the case, what would you prefer us to do?
Just post the newsbit or video without wasting time on writing something about it.
Don't post it, posts like those take down the overall quality of the site.
Wait until you do have the time, even if it's not really news anymore by then.

Have you ever heard any of our exclusive megamixes?
Yes
No
16.
*
Have you ever played one of our mixes more than once?
No, they don't have replay value.
Yes, at least twice.
Yes, I keep replaying them!
I haven't played them at all.

Whenever we do a megamix with hits, using remixes makes the mixing a lot easier, but tends to take away the sound of the proper songs. How do you feel about the inclusion of remixes in our megamixes?
I rather hear original songs only, I don't like remixes.
Only use them when the original song's completely unmixable, otherwise go for the single version.
I like a mix of both remixes and original versions, whatever works for you!
I prefer remixes, make those megamixes clubtastic!
18.
*
Mixing a megamix takes quite a lot of time and effort, do you think it's worth it?
Definitely, don't stop, I love them!
No, I'd rather you'd spend the time you spend on them on writing for the site.

The past few weeks we've probably been overdoing our quality control a bit, resulting in no updates when we thought things weren't interesting enough to post. If 1 means several posts a day, some merely existing of a new video or albumcover without any comments, and 10 means only posting proper articles, which sometimes could result in only one update a week, which quantity/quality balance would you like to see?
